幼兒美語課

Moon Festival is coming. Everyone learned to say the related vocabulary as well as practicing simple sentences. Not only did we have lots of fun making a barbecue craft, but we also had a great time sharing what we do on Moon Festival. Excellent work, everyone!

兒美啟發課

We learned about food in class today. Everyone practiced the new vocabulary while making flash cards. Not only did we have lots of fun playing Four Corners vocabulary game, but we also had a great time playing a letter matching game. In addition, every student enjoyed making a pasta craft with yellow yarn and colored paper. Yummy!

@The frog that sticking out the tongue

Cutting the shapes of legs, face and eyes of the frog and roll out the paper making the tongue of it and using the straw to blow the tongue and it is

Turning furry monster:

Coloring the paper cup with all kinds of colors you like and punching a hole and inserting the straw into the cup. Curling the string adding two eyes to make the monster and put it on the bottom side of the cup. Now you blow the straw with the air and sound. The sound vibration makes the little furry monster turn and turn.

The Pub

By cutting, folding and gluing the paper pub, our kids have learned to tell different parts of the puppy( head, tail, body, bone, front and back legs) and have so much fun. 😂😃😊

Floating Gold Fish🐠(Oil-Water Separation Theory)

1. Draw a little gold fish with your color markers on the back of your silver spoons and wait till the ink dry for a few seconds.

2. Immerse your spoons into the water then you will see gold fish floating on it.

Rainbow Bridge( Capillary Theory)

1. Mark three different colors( Red, Blue, and Black) on the tissue and put a few dots about three centimeters away from the color marks and look which color runs the fastest.( The correct answer is Red. The reason why the colors seems to be able to run fast is there are many pores on the surface of the tissue which absorb liquid in no time.)

2. Putting paper towels on the top of three different colors liquid and you will see them and turning into beautiful paper towels.

Making super jelly balls(not for eating!!!

1. You pour 4 grams of sodium alginate into the hot water and stir them evenly.
2. You also need to prepare three different kinds of color drinks such like apple juice, grape juice or vegetable juice.
3. Adding chloride calcium into #2 each individually and mix them all.
4. Using dropper and adding a few drops of #3 into #1 and you will see chunky jellies floating on the top.

小時候是被補習班餵養知識長大的， 長大後發現，很多都忘了， 只是為了應付一次又一次的考試， 真正記在腦袋瓜子裡的， 都是聽過的英文歌歌詞， 記得某部電影裡經典喜歡的句子， 那些不痛苦的反而成為長期記憶， 那麼，用對方法， 讓孩子們在遊戲操作中習得能力， 就非常的重要了。
